That's just the way John worked, low-key and focused.ĭuring that shoot, John told me he wanted to develop his own projects as a writer and director. I knew John from his time in NYC as an actor and was fortunate to direct him in my most recent film, in which he put in an incredible performance - all without ego or swagger. I know how great he was as a friend and peer, and so I can only imagine how big a space he will leave in all your lives. My heart goes out to John's friends and loved ones. He was a kind, thoughtful soul, imbued with so much natural ability and talent. Much love and healing to the family and many friends of Ms Anita Hadad. She will forever stand out as an impactful person I’ve had the pleasure to encounter. I am sad to see the loss of such a strong loving person. Some of the many things we would talk about is our family get togethers, cooking and upcoming events. Her genuine interest in my life and her love of family could be felt in our exchanges. She would always ask how my mom and I were doing. Ever since then, When she was in for treatment I would go find her and check in. When my mom told me this, it really touched me deep in my soul. Anita, being Facebook friends with my mother, noticed this and contacted my mother expressing her gratitude to have had me as her nurse. Unbeknownst to me, my mother posted a Facebook post for nurses week 2 years ago with my picture.

This world is so small, for example, she and my mother grew up together in the same grade through out all of grade school. She had a genuine interest in life and lives of others. Even when she came in after hearing some unfavorable news, starting a new treatment, or experiencing some intolerable side effects, she would always say hello and ask how things are going. I was one of her many cancer treatment nurses. Ms Anita Hadad I was someone I had the pleasure of working with during some of the most difficult times near the end of her life. I will always think of you when I listen to Harvey Danger flagpole sitta what I wouldn’t give to blast it with you on a long car ride one last time. I truly wish I could see you one last time at your service but I know you would understand how important it is for me to be at my doctors appointment. We got to pick up where we left off as we always did. I still remember being one of the lucky few that got to be at your wedding and how beautiful of a bride you made. I will always remember the big heart you have and the way you always cared for others. I wish we had taken more pictures but we were to busy having fun. Lately I’ve been thinking about our many fun random adventures. We just talked about our kids becoming friends just like we were when you found out the news of me expecting. Our sleep overs where we’d talk about anything and everything we’d almost forget to sleep. Many adventures to get out of Williamsburg for the night. Ty-poop I wish I had one last drive with you where we’d have the best conversations about our lives and getting lost only to see if we could find our way back home with out a gps. We also thank Frank for his dedication to Nae and his friendship to us. I thank God for Nae being such a loyal and loving friend to me and my entire family. We are sad to say goodbye to Nae, but we know she is in a better place and no longer suffering from many years of sickness and pain. Nae was a true friend to me and like a real sister. She cooked gourmet food and wore fine clothing and elegant jewelry, but she also shared it with others.

Nae was very frugal, but she knew how to live with elegance. She listened closely to what we said, and she would give her advice or opinion as she thought necessary, especially about home decorating and remodeling. When we were together with Nae, she devoted her entire time to us. Nae showed her love with cards and gifts to Joel and me, our children and grandchildren. Frank and Nae visited and supported our family through good times and sad times. As time went by, we visited and kept up with each other all over the place, even Alaska. Nae and I believed in hard work, supporting our family, improving where we live, and enjoying our family and friends. We became very good friends right away because we had a lot of things in common. I met Nae for the first time when Joel was stationed at Langley Air Force Base in 1988. Since my husband, Joel, served in the Air Force for 30 years, we moved every two to four years. I was very blessed to have had Nae call me her best friend for thirty-three years.
